Peace Initiative Plan and Objectives:
To participate in and have high visibility in Community-Based activities, such as Annual Parades, Peace Celebrations and Community Forums focused on building Peace in communities and addressing the root causes that contribute to the culture of violence that have become prevalent in today’s society. The purpose of participating in these events is to convey the message to the various communities that Rotary is present and willing to work with the community and wants to work with the community in promoting peace at all levels.

To sponsor District-wide events to bring “Peace Practitioners” together to share, implement and develop functional, real-time and practical methods and, programs and trainings that can be used in various communities to promote Peace/Conflict Resolution on all levels, from one-on-one interaction to interaction between organizations and communities.
